Dive into the fresh indulgence of our Tradition candle, inspired by the candied orange peels and dekopon citrus eaten from Lunar New Year through the summer time. The fragrance that makes up Candied Citrus opens with the peels of lemon and orange akin to its inspiration. A sugary center of agave, tangerine and mandarins elevate the inherent sweet qualities of this scent. The continued fruit notes of lime and peach combined with earthy musk and patchouli help to keep this scent perfectly blended.
Tradition was inspired by the Chinese candy box my grandmother would fill with different peels, seeds, and candies. Her solution to any discomfort was sucking on citrus peels or brewing the dried peels in soup and tea. The design honors traditional Chinese architecture and is meant to emulate the feeling of looking out at the sky.
