Rest & Reverie Studios is a soft-scented fragrance brand founded in California by San Francisco native and Asian American female entrepreneur Brittany Wong. Born from a love of home and the personal connection fragrance brings, R&R Studios was created to make scent more accessible for both fragrance lovers and scent-sensitive individuals alike.

Our Mission

Guided by values of self-care, positive mental health, and representation, Rest & Reverie Studios aims to bring greater visibility to Asian-inspired scents while offering inclusive fragrances for those often overlooked by the industry. Each product is outfitted with neutral labeling, designed to help create a safe, grounding environment where scent becomes a bridge to comfort, belonging, and peace.

The Inspiration

For Brittany, fragrance has always been deeply personal to her own journey deeply tied to nostalgic memories throughout her life. Yet strong perfumes, lotions, and candles often left her feeling overwhelmed and unwell. Realizing many others shared this sensitivity, she set out to create fragrances that are gentle, clean, and comforting, without sacrificing the experience or depth.

Behind the Name

The name Rest & Reverie reflects both comfort and daydreaming. The combination serves as a reminder to carve out intentional time for oneself. The term “reverie” holds personal meaning for Brittany, dating back to her first entrepreneurial venture, Reverie Cloud. While she later explored ventures in beauty and the culinary arts, the sentiment of reverie remained close to her heart, much like fragrance itself: nostalgic, whimsical, and deeply tied to personal experiences.
